Riyasha Nizar holds a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB, hons) from the University of Staffordshire, London, UK, and has also earned a Diploma in Information Technology.

Her primary research focus lies in bill analysis, parliament questions and Right to Information (RTI).

She did a Dissertation on “Are the cybercrime laws adequate for young adults?”.

She previously held the position of Research Officer at the Law Students Association of Sri Lanka. 

Currently, she is reading her Attorney-at-law at Sri Lanka Law College, Colombo.
