Our story
Verité Research was founded in 2010 by Dr. Nishan de Mel as a think tank uniquely positioned to navigate Sri Lanka’s complex socio-political landscape. Initially focused on addressing urgent political challenges, we have steadily broadened our scope in response to emerging opportunities and evolving needs.
Today, Verité has grown into a dynamic, interdisciplinary research organisation with deep expertise in economics, law, media, and politics. Verité follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely or from the office, as needed. This is based on demands of specific tasks and roles. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.
