Bulani Weerawardane’s research interests include international trade, public procurement, and corruption. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, where she graduated with First Class Honors, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of London, achieving Second Upper Honors.

Additionally, she holds a Diploma in International Relations from the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS), where she received the Academic Excellence Award for the Best Student in her Diploma program. Currently, she is pursuing her Attorney-at-Law qualification.
