Mathisha Arangala is a Lead Economist at Verité Research.


He holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce in Economics and Banking & Finance from Monash University Malaysia and a Higher Diploma in International Relations from the Bandaranaike Centre for International Relations.


His expertise lies in trade policy, with interests in International Relations, Public Procurement, Foreign Development Assistance, and Geopolitics in South Asia.
Mathisha has contributed to research projects on trade adjustment assistance and export regulations for agricultural products. 


He engages in stakeholder advocacy with national-level private and public entities to develop policy solutions.
