M. Udara Peiris is an Associate Professor of Financial Economics at Oberlin College and Conservatory. His research explores the intersection of macroeconomics and financial markets, with a focus on capital flows and sovereign debt. Prior to joining Oberlin, he was an Associate Professor of Finance at HSE University (ICEF) and held teaching positions at the University of Warwick and the University of Oxford, where he earned his PhD in Financial Economics from the Saïd Business School.
