Vinoth Ramachandra

Dr. Vinoth Ramachandra is an author, theologian, educator, and human rights advocate. From 1983 to 1991, he served as the General Secretary of the Fellowship of Christian University Students and has served as the Secretary for Social Engagement and Dialogue at the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES), Since 1987. He also founded and is the General Secretary of the Fellowship of Christian University Students in Sri Lanka (FOCUS), and is on the International Advisory Council of the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion, based in Cambridge, England. He is the author of numerous essays, articles, and books, including Gods That Fail (2nd ed. 2016) and Subverting Global Myths: Theology and the Public Issues that Shape Our World (2008). Dr. Ramachandra graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor’s and a Doctoral degree in Nuclear Engineering.
